Soil Sensor & Soil Tester

We develop and produce soil moisture sensors, soil NPK sensors, soil temperature sensors, soil pH sensors, and soil detector testers for smart agriculture, supporting customization, and remote cloud computing.

Soil Tester

Soil Tester

Soil moisture meter, soil tester and soil meter are sensors based on the principle of dielectric constant. It can dynamically observe the content of soil parameters in different soil layers, and conduct fast, accurate and comprehensive observations, so that people’s understanding of the soil reaches a high level.

Features:

(1)The soil parameter rapid measuring instrument adopts the TDR non-contact measurement method, and measures the feedback signal reflected from the soil by transmitting a high-frequency pulse signal. According to this principle, the soil water content data is calculated. Compared with the standard drying method, the difference in the data of the soil parameter rapid tester is only ±3%.

(2)TDR non-contact measurement because the sensor does not make actual contact with the soil, it can simultaneously measure the soil moisture and temperature data of different soil layers, and perform fast, accurate, and comprehensive observations.

(3)Without calibration, it can be used directly; the soil temperature and moisture can be monitored at the same time, and the temperature compensation function is provided to automatically correct the monitoring results. It only takes about 30 minutes for a single person to complete it, which saves time and effort, does not require complicated wiring, and is easy to take out and maintain later.
(4)The integrated shell of the soil parameter rapid tester adopts new ABS material, which has a high repetitive rate and a designed service life of up to 10 years.

Monitoring parameters:

(1)Soil temperature detection:Easy to understand.Soil temperature determines the living environment of the plant to create a standard greenhouse for your soil.

(2)Soil pH test:Accurate control,Soil pH affects plant growth and protects your soil acid-base balance.
(3)Soil NPK detection:Test at any time,Soil NPK is an important nutrient element for plant growth and promotes plant growth.
(4)Soil conductivity test:Rational planting,Soil conductivity reflects soil salinity and affects soil nutrient conversion and effectiveness.
(5)Soil moisture detection:Easy to understand.Soil moisture determines the living environment of the plant to create a standard greenhouse for your soil.

Application:

Soil sensor is widely used in agricultural planting, fruit base vineyard, intelligent planting and other places where soil moisture needs to be detected.

The Role of Soil Sensors in Modern Agriculture: A Comprehensive Guide

Moisture Sensors: Perhaps the most widely used type, moisture sensors detect the amount of water present in the soil. They work by measuring the dielectric constant or the resistance between two electrodes, which changes with varying moisture levels.

Temperature Sensors: Essential for understanding the thermal environment of crops, these sensors track soil temperature, an important factor affecting seed germination, root growth, and microbial activity.

Electrical Conductivity (EC) Sensors: EC sensors assess the salinity and overall nutrient availability in the soil. Higher EC values typically indicate a greater concentration of dissolved salts, which can be detrimental if too high.

pH Sensors: Measuring the acidity or alkalinity of the soil, pH sensors are critical for determining the suitability of the soil for specific crops, as different plants thrive in different pH ranges.
